Zetes, a leading European supplier of solutions for the automatic identification of goods and people, and Reva Systems, the leading RFID network infrastructure provider, announce that they have signed a reseller agreement.
Under the terms of this agreement, Reva’s Tag Acquisition Processors (called Reva TAPs) will empower the Zetes 3i RFID Solution, to offer a solution with flexibility, reliability and data accuracy as it operates with all leading manufacturers of RFID antennas and readers.
The Reva TAPs are integrated with the ZS-RFID Controller, the centrepiece of the 3i RFID Solution. The Controller consolidates all data from the underlining infrastructure in order to present only cleaned and relevant data to the hosting ERP, MIS or WMS. At this level, it is possible to add extra workflow logic or run specific applications, which allow the customer to extract useful information from its operations.
Alain Wirtz, CEO of Zetes, comments: “Reva has the most mature and flexible technology available on the market. Indeed, thanks to the Reva TAPs, we are able, with one single solution, to support readers from the leading manufacturers in the world. On the other end of the solution, and thanks to our own experience and knowledge of direct integration, we will be able to connect the ZS-RFID Controller with most enterprise applications whilst adding specific value in the way workflows are being managed. With the ZS-RFID Controller, powered by Reva, Zetes can strengthen its ambition to become a major player on the European RFID scene.â€
Ashley Stephenson, chairman of RFID network infrastructure vendor Reva Systems, continues: “Reva, is pleased to partner with Zetes in Europe. The company’s experience in installing complex large scale solutions and its thorough knowledge of the retail market makes us confident that Zetes will contribute to helping European companies deploy RFID, using Reva’s technology. Zetes has a direct presence in 12 EMEA countries, and has been proven successful in convincing its markets to adopt innovative Auto-ID solutions.â€
