Dynamic Card Solutions Signs First Instant Issue Customer in Ohio

Dynamic Card Solutions (DCS), developer of CardWizard®, the leading instant issue and PIN selection software application for financial institutions, today announced that it is continuing to expand instant issuance by signing its first customer in Ohio – Glass City Federal Credit Union.

DCS will be installing its CardWizard software and Datacard 150i embossers in Glass City FCU’s four branch locations throughout Northwest Ohio: the main branch in Maumee, Ohio, and three remote branches including one in Bowling Green and two in Toledo. Glass City FCU’s instant issue program is expected to go live later this year at which point they will be able to instantly issue Visa debit cards to its members.

Glass City FCU marks DCS’ first customer in Ohio as instant issue continues to gain widespread interest domestically and internationally. Financial institutions that are able to produce a plastic card “on-the-spot” essentially eliminate the wait time for members to receive a card, allowing them to activate and use their card immediately.

“We recognized that instant issuance was a way for us to service our members in a convenient way that would increase the customer experience and maximize member loyalty,” said Slates. “Allowing the member to use their card immediately increases activation rates and it is our hope that it will then become the choice card in our members’ wallet.”

DCS’ CardWizard instant issue software can be configured to accommodate the goals and objectives of most card-issuance environments. CardWizard is a component-based software application and can instantly issuing Visa® and MasterCard® products at the branch level for banks, credit unions and retailers. The software consists of central and branch level elements and is installed, along with an in-house data preparation system, in the issuer's central computer room, allowing financial institutions to instantly issue cards to consumers at each branch.
