Checking your Octopus card balance at home by ACR122 Octopus Card Reader

Advanced Card Systems Ltd. (ACS) announces that it has been chosen by one of the largest telecom companies in Hong Kong to make the ACR122 Octopus reader available for its multimedia VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) phone project in Hong Kong.

The ACR122 Octopus reader checks the balance and the ten most recent transactions in the Hong Kong Octopus card with the ACR122 connected to the multimedia VoIP phone. And yes, no PC is required.

The project subscribers are impressed and satisfied with this service because of the flexibility and convenience it brings them. They need not go to Octopus Enquiry Machines to read their Octopus card balance and recent records. Instead, they can easily do that at home!
